PAHIT

“The bar that can heal people.

Pahit is a Bahasa Malaysia word means bitter. The name and the concept of the bar was inspired by the story of the barkeeper.

Two years ago, the barkeeper was just breaking up with her 10 years girlfriend. He was upset and alone. Since the day, he started drinking alcohol everyday and hoped to escape his sadness by this way.

During the times, he felt every cocktails he drank from different bars were bitter, he can't taste others flavors beside of bitter. So, he started to learn the ingredients and the recipe to do the cocktails from some bartender.

He started to make some cocktails in his home by adding a lot of gentle fragrance. "His cocktails always made people felt warm and gentle, just like a couple spending time together on a lazy Sunday," said by his friend.

Since that, he decided to open a bar and started to invent more gentle cocktails which can heal people. Throughout the whole story, he been through his sadness of losing girlfriend and the only taste he can feel is bitter. That's why he decided to name his bar "Pahit".

Highly recommend you all to have a try of the cocktails from Pahit. It really warm my heart a lot.
